Small Business Grant - 2022

State Government announce advice grant for SME's.

Overview

The Victorian State Government has launched a $2,000 advice grant for small businesses. This can use to pay for professional advice from accounting or law firms.

Known as the Specialist Advice Pathways Program - it is designed to help small business meet the costs of seeking professional advice.

The program supports established employing businesses who have remained in business despite the challenges presented by COVID-19. The program recognises that while many small businesses have successfully navigated these disruptions, there are others needing support.

This includes SME's that have made necessary adjustments but still require advice to ensure profitability, sustainable business practices and/or next steps.

Eligibility

You can visit https://business.vic.gov.au/grants-and-programs/specialist-advice-pathways-program in order to assess your eligibility.

The grant cannot be used for basic professional services such as ongoing, routine, “business as usual” accounting, legal or tax advice. The program will close on Friday 30 September at 4:00 PM, or earlier if funds are exhausted.

Applications are assessed on a first in first serve basis.

Connection to an Adviser

This grant is a good chance for SME's to get the advice and analysis they need.  This could include the management of cashflow, budgets, projections and profitability, as well as financial management and operational business strategies that address a current and pressing issue to inform future business decisions.

If you think you are eligible and would like to apply for the grant, then please let us know the exact services and we can connect you to an accredited person(s).
